Promotion of the PreciseMed project has gone beyond Europe

Sylwia Klepacka, PRECISEMED project manager and specialist in the International Cooperation Department, promoted the PRECISEMED project at the prestigious international trade fair combined with the NAFSA2025 conference, which took place in San Diego, California (USA). Another ICD employee, Mateusz Szyc, also participated in the trip on behalf of the Department and took part in promotional activities.

This was a key moment in the intensification of the project's promotional activities. During the fair, including visits to other stands, such as that of the European Commission, promotional materials produced as part of the project (including notebooks and cotton bags) were distributed for the first time. Thanks to participation in these fairs, potential partners from the USA and many other countries around the world, such as China, Canada and other European countries, learned about the objectives of the PreciseMed project and its results to date.

MUB employees represented the university at a joint national stand organised by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) as part of the ‘Ready, Study, Go! Poland’ and ‘Research in Poland’ campaigns. In this edition, as many as 18 universities from Poland took part – MUB was the only one from the Podlaskie Province.

The Medical University of Białystok participated in this event for the first time, and our main goal was networking and promoting the university on the international stage. We were able to reach people from North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Europe with information about our university and the PRECISEMED project. We brought back several dozen business cards with contacts that we would like to use. In addition to conversations at our Polish stand, we also actively participated in the fair by visiting the stands of organisations with which we cooperate. For the first time, we met colleagues from several universities in the EUNICE network in person, reported Sylwia Klepacka from the International Cooperation Department.

In addition to actively participating in the exhibition, MUB employees also took part in panel sessions, including those organised by the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE). It is worth mentioning that FRSE is an institution coordinating the implementation of projects under Action 2 (KA220-HED).

The participation of the Medical University of Białystok in the fair was made possible by the project ‘East or West MUB is the best. Promotion of the Medical University of Bialystok on the global scene’, which is financed by the NAWA Welcome to Poland programme (2023).
